A 5 week series geared towards those new to yoga. Time is spent breaking down elemental aspects of the practice and foundational yoga postures that are fundamental to a Vinyasa practice. Props and modifications offered for proper alignment and ease in the postures. Perfect choice for beginners.

Class incorporates yoga teachings to guide your practice on and off the mat, supported by breathing techniques, intentional sequences, alignment focus, relaxation and meditation.
Class is appropriate for all levels of students with some experience. The complete beginner should be aware there is not much detailed description in an open level class, however the instructor will offer modifications for beginner students as well as more challenging poses for advanced students.
*Not recommended for pure beginners..
Tuesdays + Thursdays
Also known as Yoga Chikitsa (Yoga Therapy), this class follows the the primary series of the Ashtanga Vinyasa system, as taught in the tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. Class will consist of the entire standing series followed by a short form of seated, and traditional closing sequence with modifications offered.
Please note: This is not a beginner's class.
